12th Annual Soup Prize – A Tasty Fundraiser for Blood Cancer Support!
Join us for the 12th Annual Soup Prize – a delicious, family-friendly fun-raiser where YOU get to play judge! Sample amazing homemade soups from talented amateur chefs and cast your vote for your favorite. All proceeds stay local to help West Michigan blood cancer patients through research, scholarships, and financial assistance via the Michelle Lunn HOPE Foundation.
Come hungry – leave happy and full! Unlimited soup tastings, bread/crackers, desserts, and soda are included with your donation. Plus, you’ll have a chance to win some great prizes!
Event Details Date: Saturday March 14, 2026 Time: 1PM- Soup serving typically 1-2:30 pm
Location: St. Jude’s Brophy Center, 1120 4 Mile Rd NE, Grand Rapids, MI, 49525
Donation & Admission Adults: $15 Kids under 10: $5 2 and under: Free
Your donation includes:
- 1 vote for your favorite tasting soup
- Unlimited soup tastings
- Bread/crackers, desserts, and soda
- Chance to win exciting prizes!
Cash bar will be available for adults.
Enter Your Soup – Be a Contest Chef! Show off your culinary skills! Chefs are invited to enter a soup in the contest.
To enter, email Sue Lunn at sue@mlhope.org by March 8th. Please include:
- Soup name
- Chef’s name

Awards & Categories Prizes for:
- 1st -3rd Place – People’s Choice (voted by attendees)
- 1st- 3rd Place – Judges’ Favorites
- Top Tipper – Chef who raises the highest amount in tips/donations (chefs may collect ahead of time!)
Why Attend? Why Enter? Every dollar raised supports local blood cancer patients and families – 100% goes toward research funding, scholarships, and direct assistance (after minimal admin). It’s a fun way to gather as a community, enjoy great food, and make a real difference in memory of Michelle Lunn.
